During today’s meeting, the Committee has supported 2013 Performance Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro and got acquainted with the following: 2013 Report on stability of financial system, 2013 Report on stability of prices and 2013 Annual financial statement of the Central Bank of Montenegro, together with the opinion of an independent external auditor, which is, in line with the Law on the Central Bank of Montenegro, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro for informational purpose. On the occasion of considering the Performance Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro, the possibility of submitting a conclusion was announced.
The Committee stated that, even though there was no legislative commitment, the 2013 Performance Report of the Banking Ombudsman was submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro, emphasising that it could be useful for MPs on the occasion of considering the 2013 Performance Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro.
In line with Article 16 of the Law on Concessions, the Committee got acquainted with the 2013 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions of the Government of Montenegro, as well as with the level of implementation of conclusion (five) by the Parliament of Montenegro, no. 00-72/13-8/4 of 30 July 2013, regarding the consideration of the 2012 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions. With regard to the aforementioned, the Committee has decided to submit the report to the Parliament of Montenegro, and announced the possibility of submitting new conclusions and holding a special meeting of the Committee, during which, in the presence of representatives of the authorities, the state in the field of concession would be reviewed.
The Committee did not support the initiative for holding a consultative hearing for the purpose of obtaining information, i.e. eliminating dilemmas in the field of implementing the policy for achieving the budget revenue from the manufacturing and selling tobacco products, with an emphasis on business operations of "Duvanski kombinat" Podgorica JSC, which is in bankruptcy, submitted by MP Aleksandar Damjanović.
