67th Meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget

Amendments to four proposals for the law considered 

At the meeting held today, the Committee considered amendment (04-3/14-1/4) to the Proposal for the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, submitted by MPs Zoran Jelić and Marta Šćepanović. The representative of the Government agreed with the proposed amendment so it became an integral part of the text of the proposal for the law.  

Amendments to the Proposal for the Law amending the Law on Foreign Investments, submitted by MPs, Azra Jasavić and Srđan Perić (30-1/13-2/5) and MPs Srđan Milić and Neven Gošović (30-1/13-2/ 6) after the modifications have become an integral part of the text of the proposal for the law.   

Also, the Committee considered and decided to recommend to the Parliament to adopt the amendment to the Proposal for the Law amending the Law on Tax on Turnover of used passenger motor vehicles, vessels, airplanes and aircrafts, submitted by MP Aleksandar Damjanović (16-01/14-1/2). The representative of the Government did not accept the mentioned amendment.   

Amendment to the Proposal for the Law amending the Law on Obligatory Relations, submitted by MPs Mladen Bojanić and Srđan Perić (23-1/14-7/3) did not obtain the required majority at the Committee. MP Aleksandar Damjanović as a proposer did not accept the mentioned amendment.  

In accordance with Article 28 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered the Report of the Secretary General on the use of the funds of the Parliament for the period 1 January – 30 June 2014, accompanied by the Report on Public Procurement. The Committee unanimously supported the mentioned report.   

Within the item- current issues, regarding the Decision to hold a control hearing of Slavoljub Stijepović – Minister of Education, Duško Rajković – Director of the PI Center for Vocational Education, Zoja Bojanić Lalović – Director of the PI Institute for textbook publishing and teaching aids and Nenad Šoškić – director of the PI Center for Contemporary Art, on the grounds of the negative opinion of the State Audit Institution on the audit of annual financial reports of mentioned institutions, adopted on 64th meeting of the Committee held on 18 July 2014., it was agreed to hold a hearing on Monday 15 September 2014.

Consideration of amendments to the Proposal for the Law amending the Excise Law, submitted by MP Aleksandar Damjanović (16-03/14-2/2), is postponed.
