Members of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget will attend the Inter-Parliamentary Conference in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union, which will be held in Rome on 29 and 30 September 2014 on the occasion of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. 

The conference will include four sessions which will address the European path of development, re-start of investment and reducing inequality, economic and fiscal management tools of the European Union, establishment of a banking union, financing of the real economy, coordination of fiscal policy in the European Union and the digital economy. Also, the conference will address the issues related to stability, coordination and governance in the economic and monetary union.
