At 76th meeting initiated today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered the Proposal for the Law on Financing Veterans, submitted by MPs Neven Gošović and Aleksandar Damjanović.

On the occasion of considering the concerned Proposal for the Law, in line with Article 67 of the Rules of the Procedure, the following took part in the discussion: Montenegrin Federation of Associations of Veterans of the People's Liberation War in Yugoslavia (SUBNOR), National Liberation War Organization of Montenegro (SOBNOR) and Montenegrin Association of 1990s War Veterans, who stated their opinion on proposed regulations of the Law.

The Committee decided to state its opinion on the Proposal for the Law on Financing Veterans in the continuation of the meeting, upon the expiry of deadline for submitting the opinion by the Government of Montenegro on the said act.

Within the item “current issues”, upon the proposal of MPs from parliamentary majority, MP Damir Šehović was elected deputy chairperson of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget.

Having in mind that Minister of Finance was not able to attend the meeting, the Committee decided to postpone i.e. consider at one of the following meetings the implementation of Conclusions by the Parliament of Montenegro on the occasion adopting the Law on Final Budget Statement of Montenegro for 2012 (published in the “Official Gazette MNE” No. 2/14) and implementation of the Conclusions by the Parliament of Montenegro on the occasion adopting the 2014 Budget Law of Montenegro (published in the “Official Gazette MNE” No. 2/14) when the Minister would be present.

The continuation of the 75^th meeting has been postponed, due to absence of a number of Committee members.
