Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget started its 83rd meeting

Proposals for financial plans with the work plans of independent regulatory bodies for 2015 were considered and the Proposal for the decision on appointing two members of the Foreign Investors Council out of the members of parliament formulated  

At its today’s meeting, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget decided to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt proposals for financial plans with the work plans of independent regulatory bodies for 2015, for the following:   Securities Commission, Insurance Supervision Agency, Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices and Agency for Electronic Media.

The Committee postponed voting on the Proposal for financial plan with the work plan of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP), until submission of the opinion of the Government, in accordance with Article 5 of the Law on Electronic Communications.

In accordance with Article 67 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, regarding the consideration of the Proposal for 2015 Financial Plan of EKIP, the meeting was also attended by the Executive Director of Montenegro Post, Milan Martinović.

Voting on the Proposal for financial plan with the Work Plan of the Energy Regulatory Agency (RAE), taking into account the opinion of the Ministry of Finance, was postponed in order to further consider wages justification in the Agency.

The Committee, in accordance with Article 25 of the Law on Foreign Investment, formulated the Proposal for the decision on appointing two members of the Foreign Investors Council out of the members of parliament. MPs Filip Vuković and Strahinja Bulajić were proposed for members of the Foreign Investors Council.
