In the opening statement, the Minister of Finance pointed out that the objectives of economic policy in 2015, among other things, are: the acceleration of economic growth, strengthening the competitiveness of the economy and rising living standards, and that the goals of budgetary policy are further consolidation of public finances and restructuring the capital budget. It is also emphasized that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is planned at the level of 3 547 billion. Euros, and that the budget for 2015 is planned at the level of 1 963 billion. Euros (55.34% of GDP); level of deficit 235.8 million. Euros (6.65% of GDP); capital budget in the amount of 284.15 million. Euros (8.01% of GDP), as well as that the repayment of debt will amount to nearly 400 million. Euros (11.2% of GDP).
In accordance with Article 67 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro (Rules of Procedure), the meeting was attended by representatives of the State Audit Institution, Central Bank of Montenegro, the State Election Commission, Montenegro Business Alliance, Union of Employers of Montenegro, Managers Association of Montenegro, Confederation of Trade Unions of Montenegro, the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro, NGOs: "Institute Alternative", “Civic Alliance”, Federation of Associations of Parents of Children and Youth with disabilities “Our Initiative", the association of minority shareholders of JSC “Radoje Dakić", and associations of former workers – retired persons of Aluminium Plant Podgorica (KAP), who presented their view of the planned budgetary revenues and expenditures for 2015.
The work of the meeting, in accordance with Article 67 of the Rules of Procedure, was attended by the students of the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro.
