91st meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget held

73 amendments submitted to seven legislative acts considered 

 

At today's afternoon meeting, 73 amendments submitted to seven legislative acts were considered.

The Committee supported 21 amendments to the to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Energy, and a representative of the proposer agreed on that, hence those have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.

The Committee supported five amendments and a representative of the proposer did not agree on that.

Given that submitters of amendments did not attend the meeting, the Committee was not able to state its opinion on ten submitted amendments.

Two of four amendments submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Tax Administration were not supported by the requested majority, one have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law’s wording, and one was withdrawn from the procedure.

Three amendments submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Coffee Tax were not supported by the requested majority.

The Committee also considered seven amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax. Two of the concerned amendments have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law’s wording. Following the consideration, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament not to accept four amendments, while it did not state its opinion on one of the amendments due to absence of a submitter of the amendment.

The Committee also considered five amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Customs Law. A representative of the proposer agreed on two amendments and those have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law’s wording. Additionally, the Committee supported two amendments, while it did not state its opinion on one of the amendments due to absence of a submitter of the amendment.

The Committee also decided to submit one amendment both to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax and to the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Customs Law, and a representative of the proposer agree on that.

The biggest number of amendments (27) was submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Immovable Property Tax. Six of the concerned amendments in proposed wording and two reformulated amendments have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law. Following the vote, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament not to accept eleven amendments, while the four amendments were withdrawn from the procedure. Due to absence of a submitter of amendments, the Committee did not state its opinion on four of the amendments to the said Proposal for the Law.

The Committee decided to submit four amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to Law on Fees for Access to Certain Services of General Interest and for the Use of Tobacco Products and Electro-Acoustic and Acoustic Devices. A representative of the proposer did not state their opinion on the concerned amendments.
