The topics covered in the meeting included key novelties of the Law on Budget and Fiscal Responsibility and the existing limitations in establishing new procedures, the role of the Parliament in considering budget framework, improved procedures of considering the proposal for the state budget law and proposal for the state budget final statement, implementation of the Parliament’s conclusions and recommendations of the State Audit Institution, promotion of cooperation with the State Audit Institution, and the manner of increasing transparency of spending public funds.
