At the 98^th meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget that was held today, the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Public Procurement, submitted by Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, was considered and decided to be proposed for adoption under simplified procedure to the Parliament of Montenegro.

Proposal for the Decision on granting a long-term lease of Island Lastavica with fortress Mamula – Municipality Herceg Novi did not obtain majority required following two-hour discussion.

Pursuant to the Article 75 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee unanimously adopted the Decision on holding the control hearing on the topic: “Implementation of policy respectively laws in the field of concessions with reference to implementation of conclusions of the Parliament of Montenegro adopted on the occasion of considering the 2013 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions of Montenegro ("Official Gazette of MNE", no. 31/14)". The date of the next meeting will be subsequently determined.

Committee also considered three amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Expropriation. The amendment by MPs Mr Filip Vuković and Ms Maida Bešlić, and two amendments by MP Mr Nebojša Medojević and Mr Veljko Vasiljević, did not obtain majority required.
