100th meeting of Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget begins

Seven proposals for laws considered from the aspect of financial impact on the state’s budget 

At the 100th meeting that has begun today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered theProposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Expropriation, submitted by members Ms Azra Jasavić, Mr Srđan Perić, Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Darko Pajović, and decided to postpone the vote on the said act until the submission of the opinion by the Government.  

Furthermore, in line with Article 137 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, the Committee considered seven acts in the part relating to necessary budgetary means for their application, namely: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Family Law, submitted by members Ms Danijela Marković and Mr Aleksandar Damjanović; Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Social and Child Welfare, submitted by members: Ms Azra Jasavić, Mr Srđan Perić, Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Darko Pajović; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Civil Proceedings; Proposal for the Law on Execution of Sentences of Imprisonment, Fines and Security Measures; Proposal for the Law on Supplements to the Law on Primary Education, submitted by MPs: Mr Milutin Đukanović, Ms Branka Bošnjak, Mr Janko Vučinić and Mr Vladislav Bojović; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, submitted by MP Mr Janko Vučinić as well as the Proposal for the Law on Settlement of Obligations to Workers of the JSC Aluminium Plant Podgorica Who Retired Early Due to Bankruptcy of the Company, submitted by MP Mr Janko Vučinić. With regard to that, the Committee decided to submit opinions to lead committees on the fiscal impact of the said acts to the state’s budget.

Within the item “current issues”, the Committee stated that the 101st meeting of the Committee was convened for 1 June 2015, during which a consultative hearing on the topic of “Implementation of policy, respectively laws in the field of concessions with reference to implementation of conclusions of the Parliament of Montenegro adopted on the occasion of considering the 2013 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, No. 31/14)”.
