At today’s 112th meeting, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Safety of Maritime Navigation, submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica. Following the vote, the said amendment was not supported by the necessary majority.
The Committee also considered seven amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Temporary Residence Fee, submitted by MPs: Mr Andrija Popović (two) and Mr Srđan Milić and Ms Snežana Jonica (five).
Following the vote, the amendments 1 and 2 submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović were not supported by the necessary majority. A representative of the proposer accepted amendment 5 by Mr Srđan Milić and Ms Snežana Jonica, thus the Committee noted that it has become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law. MP Mr Srđan Milić accepted the suggestion by the representative of the proposer to modify amendment 1, while amendment 2 was not supported by the necessary majority. MP Mr Srđan Milić informed the Committee on withdrawal from the procedure of amendments 3 and 4.
The Committee discussed the amendments submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the 2015 Budget Law by MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović. The Committee stated that the representative of the proposer of amendments was in the same time the proposer of the Law, hence the amendment has become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.
Pursuant to Article 51 of the Law on State Audit Institution, the Committee established the 2016 Draft Budget of the State Audit Institution.
The Committee did not support the Initiative for holding a consultative hearing for the purpose of obtaining necessary information and professional opinion on the current status of three arbitration proceedings against the state of Montenegro, as well as on the manner of defence of state interests in these proceedings and hiring of our legal representatives and experts, submitted by MPs Mr Dritan Abazović i Mladen Bojanić.
