At the meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget that was held today, reasons for the adoption of the amendmens to the Bankruptcy Law were supported, which seek to define certain provisions more precisely, in order to ensure their effective implementation, as well as the introduction of new provisions, aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness of bankruptcy proceedings.
During the debate in the meeting, the atention was drown to questions that had not yet been adequately addressed, such as: reducing the cost and duration of bankruptcy proceedings, the degree of satisfaction of the creditors, transparency of bankruptcy proceedings and others.
In adition, the Committee endorsed the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Energy, introduced by MP Mr Strahinja Bulajić, as well as modified amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Free Zones, introduced by MPs: Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Srđan Perić. Representatives of the proposers for the law endorsed the amendments, which became integral part of the proposal for the law.
