Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 122nd meeting

The Committee discussed three reports on realised investments and other activities

In line with item 5 of the Decision on a long-term lease of peninsula Luštica, Municipality of Herceg Novi (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, No. 86/09), the Committee today discussed the Report on realised investments. The consortium Northstar Ltd. Podgorica and Equest Capital Limited Jersey UK, elected bidder at the international public competition, has been granted a long-term lease of 90 years on the said land.

In line with item 5 of the Decision on a long-term lease of peninsula Luštica, Municipality of Herceg Novi (Official Gazette of Montenegro”, No. 86/09), the Committee today discussed the Report on realised investments and other activities under the agreement on long-term lease and construction. A long-term lease of 90 years on the land referred to in this Decision has been granted to the Orascom Development Holding, Orascom Hotel & Development SAE, Orascom Hotels Holding SA and Onsa Holding Ltd, being elected bidder at the international public competition.

Additionally, in line with item 5 of Decision on long-term lease of the "Orijen battalion" barracks in Kumbor, Municipality of Herceg Novi (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No. 41/12), the Committee discussed the Report on realised investments and other activities under the agreement on long-term lease. A long-term lease of 90 years on the location referred to in this Decision has been granted to the national oil company from the Republic of Azerbaijan, being elected bidder at the international public competition.

With regard to aforementioned reports on realised investments and other activities under the agreement on long-term lease, the conclusions will be submitted.

In line with Article 148, paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee submitted 3 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Customs Service, and representative of the proposer agreed on those.

Due to absence of the representative of the proposer, amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Customs Service, submitted by MP Mr Goran Tuponja, will be considered at some of the following meetings
