Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget holds its 125th meeting

Two proposals for decisions, one proposal for the law, and three proposals for conclusions were supported

At today’s meeting, the Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt  the Proposal for the Decision on Accepting the Annex No. 1 of the Agreement on the Lease of Hotel “Kraljičina plaža”, Budva; the Proposal for the Decision on granting a long-term lease of Island Lastavica with fortress Mamula, Municipality Herceg Novi, as well as the Proposal for the Law on Personal Bankruptcy of Consumers, submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović.        

With regard to consideration of three reports from 122nd meeting of the Committee, as follows: the Report on implemented investments in accordance with the Decision on granting a long-term lease of land on the peninsula Luštica - Municipality Herceg Novi; the Report on implemented investment and other activities on the basis of the Contract on the lease and construction, relating to “Luštica Development” Municipality Tivat - Luštica Bay project; as well as the Report on implemented investment and other activities on the basis of the Contract on the long-term lease of military barracks “Orjenski bataljon” in Kumbor, MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović submitted three proposals for conclusions which were unanimously supported by the Committee at today’s meeting and decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt them in the form of conclusions of the Committee.

The Committee considered seven amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Personal Income Tax. Representative of the proposer of the law accepted six amendments submitted by MPs Ms Nada Drobnjak and Ms Marta Šćepanović, and the Committee noted that they became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law, while the amendment submitted by MP Mr Damir Šehović did not obtain the necessary majority in the Committee.

Amendment submitted by MPs  Mr Srđan Milić and Ms Snežana Jonica to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Excise Law did not obtain the necessary majority in the Committee.

It was agreed that the Committee would consider the amendments to the Proposal for the 2016 Budget Law of Montenegro at its following meeting, which would be convened in due time.
