126th meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget begins

The Committee considered 38 amendments submitted to the Proposal for the 2016 Budget Law of Montenegro

At its 126th meeting which has begun today, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget was informed on the Supplement to the Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro on monitoring the implementation of the Law on Conversion of Loans in Swiss Francs (CHF) into Euros (EUR). With regard to the information conveyed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, it was agreed that the Central Bank of Montenegro would regularly report to the Parliament of Montenegro on monitoring the implementation of the Law on Conversion of Loans in Swiss Francs (CHF) into Euros (EUR).

Furthermore, in accordance with Article 71 paragraph 3 of the Law on the Central Bank of Montenegro, the Committee was informed on the 2016 Financial Plan of the Central Bank of Montenegro.

The Committee did not have objections to three amendments of MP Mr Damir Šehović submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Law on Local Self-Government Financing, which became an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.

The Committee was informed on the amendment to  the Proposal for the Decision on granting a long-term lease of Island Lastavica with fortress Mamula, Municipality Herceg Novi, submitted by MPs Mr Predrag Sekulić and Ms Marta Šćepanović, as well as with amendment to the Proposal for the Decision on Accepting the Annex No. 1 of the Agreement on the Lease of Hotel “Kraljičina plaža”, Budva, submitted by MPs: Mr Darko Pajović, Mr Srđan Perić, Ms Azra Jasavić and Mr Goran Tuponja (one). It was agreed that the Committee will vote on them after the Government submits its opinion.

The Committee considered 38 amendments submitted to the Proposal for the 2016 Budget Law of Montenegro, out of which 19 became an integral part of the Proposal for the Law. The Committee also submitted seven amendments to the Proposal for the Law, as well as three proposals for conclusions, which the proposer also accepted.

It was agreed that the Committee, in continuation of the meeting, would consider amendments submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Energy.
