At today’s 128th meeting, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget has considered the implementation of six conclusions (Official Gazette of Montenegro No. 46/15 of 14 August 2015) adopted during the consultative hearing on the topic: “Enforcement of policy, respectively laws in the field of concessions, with regard to implementation of the laws of the Parliament of Montenegro adopted on the occasion of considering 2013 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions. The Committee also discussed the 2014 Performance Report of the Commission for Concessions of Montenegro with the Register of Concession Contracts.
On the occasion of considering the conclusions, the meeting was attended by: Mr Darko Konjević - President of the Commission for Concessions of Montenegro, Mr Miomir M. Mugoša - Director of the Tax Administration, Mr Dragan Janković - Assistant Director of the Tax Administration in the Department for processing of tax returns and tax payments, Mr Novo Radović - Director of the Directorate for Tax and Customs System at the Ministry of Finance, Mr Branislav Radulović, member of the Senate of the State Audit Institution and Mr Blažo Savković - Auditor in the State Audit Institution
During the discussion, the parliamentarians were particularly focused on: collection of concessions revenues, records of existing concession contracts with the existing amendments to the Register of Concession Contracts, records of revenues from concession fees, the need for redefining the legal framework and proposing a new law on public-private partnerships. The Committee will continue monitoring the implementation of the conclusions in the period to come.
