At today’s 134th meeting, the Committee has voted in favour of Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Corporate Profit Tax, which, inter alia, introduces new models of expenditure recognised as expense for tax purposes, mechanisms for taxation of capital gains achieved by a non-resident legal person in Montenegro, defines more closely certain forms of revenues, introduces mandatory submission of tax returns electronically, etc.

With regard to the said proposal for the law, and in line with article 67 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by representatives of the: Union of Employers of Montenegro, Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro.

The Committee did not support the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Funding of Political Parties and Election Campaigns, submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović.

Consideration of amendments to the Proposal for Decision on establishing the Committee on monitoring and controlling the implementation of the Bar-Boljare highway project has been postponed for some of the following meetings.
