At its 135th meeting, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, 2016 Work Plan, Action Plan for Strengthening the Legislative and Oversight Role of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget considered the application of the following three laws: Proposal for the Law on settling obligations towards the workers of the Aluminium Plant, who due to bankruptcy of the company fulfilled conditions for retirement pension; Law on Conversion of Loans in Swiss Francs CHF into Euros EUR, as well as Law on Investment Funds. Bearing in mind the above, it was noted that the Committee was informed on the application of the said laws and that, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, the possibility of undertaking measures from within its competencies would be considered.
In accordance with Article 67 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, representatives of the following took part in the meeting: Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, Central Bank of Montenegro, Securities Commission, as well as Banking Ombudsman.
The 2015 Annual Report on Use of Financial Resources of the Parliament and Parliamentary Service with Report on Public Procurement will be considered at one of the upcoming meetings of the Committee.
