At today’s 140th meeting, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget has considered and supported the initiative for control hearing of Minister of Health Mr Budimir Šegrt with regard to the situation in the healthcare system of Montenegro and the amount of funds allocated for medical devices, submitted by MP Mr Damir Šehović. Date for holding the control hearing will be subsequently determined.

The Committee considered five amendments to the Proposal for Decision on establishing the Committee on monitoring and controlling the implementation of the Bar-Boljare highway project, submitted by MP Mr Srđan Milić. Representative of the proposer MP Ms Jelisava Kalezić expressed positive opinion on the said amendments, so they have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law wording.  The Committee did not support the proposed amendments.

In addition, the Committee has considered a Proposal for Conclusions with regard to considering the 2015 Performance Report of the Commission for Concession, submitted by MPs Mr Aleksandar Damjanović and Mr Miloš Konatar. The Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt modified version of the Proposal for Conclusions.
