At today’s 42nd meeting of the Committee on European Integration, members of the Committee have considered the level of implementation of recommendations adopted at the X Stabilisation and Association Committee (SAPC) meeting, held in Budva, on 8 and 9 April 2015.
The meeting was attended by representatives of a number of ministries and other state bodies in charge of concreate issues covered by the SAPC recommendations, and they presented the work of their institutions in implementing those recommendations in the period from the last meeting. During the discussion they talked, inter alia, on activities towards strengthening capacities of prosecution office, implementing the electoral legislation, improving the position of persons with disabilities as well as measures for preventing, investigating and punishing the cases of domestic violence. Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Siniša Stanković participated in the meeting, and presented results of the Parliament achieved in the domain of transparency and free access to information.
The meeting is held ahead of the XI SAPC meeting, which will take place in Strasbourg, on 16 and 17 December.
