Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, Ministry for Human and Minority Rights, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information, Fund for Protection and Exercising of Minority Rights, and Centre for Development and Preservation of Culture of Minorities of Montenegro.
The members of the Committee estimated that the proposed budget funds could cover fulfilling legal obligations and implementation of activities of consumer units which were the topic of discussion at today’s meeting. They also positively estimated the cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and the consumer units during the budget planning stage, which resulted in a greater degree of satisfaction of the representatives of the consumer units with regard to the proposed budget funds.
Following a comprehensive debate, the Committee supported the Proposal for 2014 Budget Law of Montenegro in part relating to the above consumer units, and it would submit their Opinion to its umbrella committee, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget.
Additionally, at their meeting held today, the Committee considered the amendments (8) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Anti-Discrimination Law, submitted by the MP Ljerka Dragičević (3) and the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms (5).
The Committee unanimously accepted the amendments 1 and 2 by the MP Ljerka Dragičević, and the representative of the proponent also agreed with them, while the MP withdrew her amendment 3.
