Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms holds its 34th meeting

Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, as the umbrella committee, at the 34th meeting held today, considered the following: two amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, submitted by MP Ms Ljerka Dragičević, and four amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Removal and Transplantation of Human Organs for Therapeutic Purposes, submitted by: Mr Radosav Nišavić (one amendment) and Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Dritan Abazović (three amendments).  

MP Ms Ljerka Dragičević, informed of her withdrawing of the amendment 1 and the amendment 2 from the procedure, which she had submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro.

Following explanatory statements of the submitter of amendments, representative of the proposer and wider discussion, the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms unanimously suppported the amendment I and the amendment II to the Proposal for the Law on Removal and Transplantation of Human Organs for Therapeutic Purposes, submitted by MPs Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Dritan Abazović and suggested them to the Parliament for adoption. The representative of the proposer approved the amendment I and the amendment II to the Proposal for the Law on Removal and Transplantation of Human Organs for Therapeutic Purposes.

The amendment III had been withdrawn by members Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Dritan Abazović.  

Member of the Parliament, Mr Radosav Nišavić, withdrew the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Removal and Transplantation of Human Organs for Therapeutic Purposes.

The Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms did not consider the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Electronic Government, submitted by members Ms Azra Jasavić and Mr Goran Tuponja, due to absence of the representative of the proposer, in accordance with the Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro.
