The goal of the Conference, with participants such as representatives of the executive, legislative and judicial powers, representatives of international organisations, civil sector, foreign representatives and experts, is to open a wide social campaign in fighting all forms of discrimination.

Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković pointed out that the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms held an important role in the field of exercising, protecting and promoting human rights and freedoms, including protection from discrimination and that it undertook numerous activities in this field. He pointed out that, in addition to a great deal of effort put in by the Committee through implementing numerous activities on the topic of antidiscrimination, a lot of work remained to be done in this field in order to achieve desired results, emphasising that the representatives of the international community also pointed this out. He concluded that it was necessary to continue further synchronised action of all responsible entities in order to improve the state of affairs in this field.
