On the occasion, the Chairperson of the Committee Mr Vuković informed guests on activities of the newly-established Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, emphasising that the Committee has been working on improving the cooperation of the Parliament of Montenegro and other parliaments at bilateral and multilateral level, through participation in numerous gatherings of international organisations and regional initiatives.

During the meeting, the Chairperson Vuković stressed that the parliamentary cooperation and parliamentary diplomacy represented important segments of activity, which have contributed to acceleration of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Chair of the Friendship Group between the Parliament of Montenegro and National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr Suljo Mustafić affirmed the importance of further cooperation of the two countries in a number of fields. Mustafić voiced pleasure of the increased presence of Azerbaijan investors and investments of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Montenegro. Additionally, Mr Mustafić informed the guests that the Friendship Group between the two parliaments was founded, voicing willingness for improving the bilateral relations at all levels.

Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr Bahram Khalilov thanked the hosts on friendly messages and invitations for strengthening relations of the two countries, praising the cooperation of the Commission with state administration bodies in Montenegro.

The interlocutors agreed that Montenegro and the Republic of Azerbaijan have been nourishing friendly relations and that cooperation of mutual interest should be continued in all fields.
