Following the useful exchange of opinions between the Committee members and ministers Mr Lukšić and Mr Konjević regarding the dispute on delimitation in the area of Sutorina, the MPs adopted the following Conclusions:
1. The Committee has decided that delimitation and determination of the state border between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina was completed in the legally valid and just manner, and expects the Agreement on the State Border between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina to be soon adopted and ratified;
The Committee believes that delimitation between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina is a done deal and recommends to the state authorities to complete the process.
2. The Committee noted that the Government of Montenegro and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the Proposal for the Agreement, which was completely harmonised.
3. The Committee concluded that Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina mutually recognised each other in the existing borders, and that during mutual recognition neither party pointed out any reserves.
4. The Committee notes that relations between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are good and that they should continue in the positive spirit of development of open and friendly bilateral relations and further joint contribution to regional cooperation.
5. The Committee expects that the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina in further procedure will bear in mind previous procedure in drafting the Agreement on the State Border between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina and appreciate theharmonisation of documents and provide its ratification in the two parliaments.
