The meeting of Chairperson Mr Miodrag Vuković and Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Montenegro on a non-residential basis H.E. Ms Adela Mayra Ruiz Garcia passed in constructive talk, during which the interlocutors reached an agreement on further intensification of political, economic and cultural corporation.

Chairpeson Vuković stressed that relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Cuba were very good and friendly, improved continuously and upgraded through substantial cooperation in many fields through active political dialogue.

Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Montenegro H.E. Ms Adela Mayra Ruiz Garcia agreed with the proposal of Chairperson Mr Vuković on establishing a friendship group between the two parliaments, noting that developing and strengthening of parliamentary cooperation may influence on intensifying current and establishing new relations between the two countries.  Additionally, the need for paying mutual visits of delegations of the committees on international relations of both parliaments was stated.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors concluded that previous relations of the two countries represented a good base for further improvement of cooperation in all fields.
