Twentieth meeting of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration held

Three proposals for the law considered.

At their twentieth meeting held today, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration considered three proposals for the law, voted on the Committee Report with Proposal of Conclusions regarding consideration of the 2012 Annual Report of Judicial Council on Performance of Courts in Montenegro, and unanimously supported the Initiative for holding of a control hearing, submitted by the MP Ms Snežana Jonica.

By a majority of votes, the Committee supported the Proposal for the Law on Communal Police, submitted by the Government of Montenegro to the Parliament of Montenegro, as well as the Proposal for the Law on Amnesty of Persons Convicted of Criminal Offences Prescribed by Montenegrin Legislation and Persons Convicted by Foreign Criminal Judgements Executed in Montenegro, with the amendment which became the integral part of the proposed text of the law, and which was submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by the MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović.

The Committee supported by a majority of votes the Report of the Committee with Proposal for Conclusions regarding consideration of the 2012 Annual Report of Judicial Council on Performance of Courts in Montenegro.

The Committee unanimously supported the Initiative for holding of control hearing of the Minister of Interior Mr Raško Konjević and Minister of Finance Mr Radoje Žugić on the topic: “Local Self-Governments Operation Analysis”, submitted by the MP Ms Snežana Jonica.

The Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on State Awards, submitted by the MP – the President of the Parliament Mr Ranko Krivokapić, did not obtain the necessary majority.
