26th meeting of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary, and Administration held

Considered multiple amendments to the set of laws in the field of judiciary.

At their 26th meeting held today, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary, and Administration considered multiple amendments to the set of laws in the field of judiciary.

The Committee considered 8 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Judicial Council.

By a majority of votes, the Committee supported the following: amendment 3 and rephrased amendments 2 and 4 by the MPs Mr Srđan Milić, Mr Neven Gošović, Mr Velizar Kaluđerović and Ms Snežana Jonica; amendment 1 and rephrased amendment 1 by the MPs Ms Draginja Vuksanović, Mr Rifat Rastoder, Mr Džavid Šabović, Mr Borislav Banović and Mr Izet Bralić, and 1 amendment by the Committee.

By a majority of votes, the Committee did not support amendment 1 by the MPs of SNP, and the amendment 2 by the MPs Ms Azra Jasavić and Mr Srđan Perić.

To the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Courts, a total of 3 amendments were submitted. By a majority of votes, the Committee supported the amendment 2 by the MPs Mr Srđan Milić, Mr Neven Gošović, Mr Velizar Kaluđerović and Ms Snežana Jonica, while the amendment 1 by the MPs of SNP did not receive the necessary majority.

The MPs Ms Draginja Vuksanović, Mr Rifat Rastoder, Mr Džavid Šabović, Mr Borislav Banović and Mr Izet Bralić abandoned the submitted amendment.

A total of 19 amendments were submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Constitutional Court of Montenegro; by a majority of votes, the Committee supported amendments 2, 3 and 7, and the rephrased amendments 1, 4 and 5 by the MPs of SNP, as well as the two amendments by the Committee.

By a majority of votes, the Committee did not support amendment 1 by the MP Mr Andrija Popović, amendments 1 and 3 by the MPs Ms Azra Jasavić and Mr Srđan Perić, amendments 6, 8 and 9 by the MPs of SNP, as well as the amendment 1 by the MPs Ms Jelisaveta Kalezić and Mr Andrija Popović.

The MP Mr Andrija Popović abandoned the amendments 2 and 3, and the MPs Ms Azra Jasavić and Mr Srđan Perić abandoned the amendment 2.

A total of 9 amendments were considered to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Public Prosecution. By a majority of votes, the Committee supported amendments 3 and 6, and the rephrased amendment 7 by the MPs of SNP, as well as the amendment of the Committee.

By a majority of votes, the Committee did not support amendment 1 by the MPs Ms Azra Jasavić and Mr Srđan Perić, as well as the amendments 1, 2, 4 and 5 by the MPs of SNP.
