28th Meeting of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration held

At its 28thmeeting held today, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration considered two proposals for laws and amendments (20) to the Proposal for the Law on Communal Police

By majority of votes cast, the Committee supported the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Constitutional Court of Montenegro as well as the Proposal for the Law on Judicial Council, submitted to the Parliament by MPs: Srđan Milić, Borislav Banović, Mladen Bojanić and Ljerka Dragićević

Twenty amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Communal Police were considered.

The Committee unanimously supported amendments 3 and 4 submitted by MP Slaven Radunović as well as amendments 5 and 6, reformulated amendments 1, 2 and 4 (paragraph 2) submitted by MPs Azra Jasavić, Srđan Perić and Goran Tuponja.

By majority of votes cast, the Committee supported the following: reformulated amendment 2 submitted by MPs Zoran Vukčević, Žana Filipović and Zorica Kovačević, two amendments of the Committee, one amendment of SDP MPs and two amendments of SNP MPs.

By majority of votes cast, the Committee did not support amendments 1 and 2 submitted by MP Slaven Radunović, amendment 1 submitted by MPs Zoran Vukčević, Žana Filipović and Zorica Kovačević nor amendment 2 submitted by MPs Azra Jasavić, Srđan Perić and Mladen Bojanić.

MPs Azra Jasavić, Srđan Perić and Goran Tuponja gave up the amendment 3, and MPs Azra Jasavić, Srđan Perić and Mladen Bojanić gave up the amendment 1.

The continuation of the 28th meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, at 10 am, and the Committee will consider on that occasion the remaining amendments (22) to the Proposal for the Law on Communal Police.
