At today's first joint meeting of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration and Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget, a control hearing of Mr Raško Konjević, MA, the Minister of Interior, and Mr Radoje Žugić, the Minister of Finance, on the topic: “Analysis of functioning of local self-governments” was realised.

The goal of the control hearing was analysis of functioning of local self-governments and reviewing of implementation of legislation in this area as well as defining problems which would be solved by the upcoming amendments to the normative acts, inter alia, amendments to the Law on Local Self-Government, which was being prepared.

MPs from two committees posed questions to competent ministers, and they answered to those, each from his/her jurisdiction. Following the constructive discussion, it was concluded two MPs from both committees together with the Service to prepare the report with proposal for conclusions, which would be sent to the Parliament for discussion.
