At its 68th meeting held today, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration supported Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Road Traffic Safety, with a majority of votes. The Committee unanimously decided to submit five amendments to this Proposal for the Law.
Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by the Government of Montenegro, was supported by the majority of votes.
The Committee supported, also with the majority of votes, Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Media, submitted by the MPs: Mr Genci Nimanbegu, Ms Azra Jasavić, Ms Branka Bošnjak, Ms Ljiljana Đurašković, Mr Rifat Rastoder, Ms Snežana Jonica, Mr Andrija Popović and Mr Almer Kalač, with one amendment, which became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law, due to the fact that the submitter was also the proposer of the law.
Nine amendments to Proposal for the Law on Foreigners and six amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Lobbying were considered.
Amendment (1), submitted by the MPs: Ms Nada Drobnjak, Mr Goran Tuponja, Ms Branka Tanasijević, Mr Nikola Gegaj, Ms Žana Filipović, Ms Ljerka Dragičević, Ms Draginja Vuksanović, Ms Jelisava Kalezić, Ms Ljiljana Đurašković, Ms Branka Bošnjak and Mr Radosav Nišavić; amendment (1) submitted by the MP Ms Draginja Vuksanović; and amendments (2) submitted by the MPs: Mr Rifat Rastoder, Ms Draginja Vuksanović and Mr Džavid Šabović, were accepted by the representative of the proposer of the Proposal for the Law on Foreigners, and thus became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law.
Amendments (4), submitted by the MPs: Mr Milan Knežević, Mr Predrag Bulatović and Mr Vladislav Bojović; and amendment (1) submitted by the MPs: Ms Azra Jasavić, Mr Srđan Perić and Mr Goran Tuponja, did not obtain the necessary majority.
With regard to amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Lobbying, the representative of the proposer accepted the amendment 1 submitted by the MPs: Mr Milan Knežević, Mr Vladislav Bojović and Mr Predrag Bulatović, and thus it became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law.
Amendments 2, 3, 4, and 5 submitted by the MPs: Mr Milan Knežević, Mr Vladislav Bojović and Mr Predrag Bulatović and amendment (1) submitted by the MP Andrija Popović, did not obtain the necessary majority.
The Committee submitted one amendment to Proposal for the Law on Lobbying.
Discussion on the following was postponed for one of the future meetings: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Montenegro, submitted by the MPs: Ms Snežana Jonica, Ms Draginja Vuksanović and Ms Azra Jasavić, amendments (2) submitted by the MPs: Mr Neven Gošović and Ms Snežana Jonica, as well as amendments (4) to Proposal for the Law on Foreigners and amendments (4) to Proposal for the Law on Lobbying, submitted by the MP Ms Snežana Jonica.
