At its 85th meeting held today, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration considered three amendments tothe Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Enforcement and Security, submitted by MPs Ms Danijela Marković and Mr Aleksandar Damjanović. The proposed amendments did not obtain the necessary majority of votes.
The Committee unanimously supported amendment 1 to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Extra-Judicial Proceedings, submitted by MPs Ms Draginja Vuksanović, Mr Izet Bralić and Mr Džavid Šabović, while amendment 2 did not obtain the necessary majority of votes.
Amendments (10) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Free Legal Aid, submitted by MP Ms Snežana Jonica did not obtain the necessary majority in the Committee, while amendment 1 by MP Ms Azra Jasavić was not considered due to the absence of the submitter of amendment.
The Committee also unanimously supported 2014 Annual Performance Report of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration.
Within the current affairs, the Committee agreed with the decision by the Anti-corruption Committee proposing the holding of a joint meeting, i.e. a consultative hearing on the topic of implementation of Article 20 of the UN Convention against Corruption on establishing a new criminal offence “illicit enrichment of public officials”. The time of holding of the meeting will be agreed subsequently, after receiving the requested information from the competent bodies.
