As interested, the Committee considered the Proposal for the Law on Public Sector Salaries, in the part relating to objections and opinions sent by: Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, Association of Judges of Montenegro, Trade Union Organisation of Public Prosecution Offices of Montenegro, advisors of the High Court and Basic Court in Bijelo Polje, Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office, Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information and secretaries of the following courts: Appellate, Administrative and Commercial Court of Montenegro, High Court in Podgorica and Bijelo Polje and basic courts in Podgorica, Kotor, Bar, Bijelo Polje, Berane and Nikšić.
After obtaining objections, suggestions and opinions submitted by interested subjects, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration proposed to the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget to consider the possibility of amendments.
Within the item “current issues”, the Committee states that all candidates who applied to Public Vacancy Notice met conditions for the election of two members of the Prosecutorial Council from among respectable lawyers.
