At its 129th meeting which began today, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration voted on the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Media, submitted by MPs Mr Rifat Rastoder, Mr Dritan Abazović, and Mr Zoran Miljanić. Following the vote, the said proposal for the law was not supported by the necessary majority of the Committee.
The Committee also considered the Proposal for the Law on Amendment and Supplements to the Law on Territorial Organisation of Montenegro, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by MPs Mr Genci Nimanbegu and Mr Nik Gjeloshaj, as well as amendment (1), submitted by MP Mr Emilo Labudović.
Amendment (1) of MP Mr Emilo Labudović was not supported by the necessary majority of the Committee. Following the vote, the Committee did not support the submitted proposal for the law.
MPs Mr Dritan Abazović and Mr Neven Gošović submitted an amendment (1) to the Proposal for the Law on Administrative Disputes which was not supported by the necessary majority of the Committee.
The Committee considered and unanimously supported an amendment (1) by MPs Ms Marta Šćepanović and Mr Veljko Zarubica to the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Law on Inspection Control.
MP Ms Snežana Jonica submitted 6 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Supplement to the Law on Montenegrin Citizenship, which were not supported by the Committee.
The Committee also considered amendments (2) to the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Law on Special Public Prosecutor's Office. Submitters of amendments MPs Ms Marta Šćepanović and Mr Milorad Vuletić rephrased the amendment (1), which, as such, was supported by a majority of votes of the Committee.
Submitters of amendments and also representatives of the proposer of the law MPs Mr Ranko Krivokapić, Mr Dritan Abazović, and Mr Zoran Miljanić rephrased the amendment (1), which, as such, became an integral part of the proposal for the law. The Committee did not support the rephrased amendment by a majority of votes.
With regard to the 2015 Performance Report of the Prosecutorial Council and the State Prosecutor’s Office, the Committee unanimously decided to refer a proposal of conclusions (8) to the Parliament.
Furthermore, with regard to the 2015 Annual Performance Report of the Judicial Council and the overall state of the judiciary, the Committee unanimously decided to refer a proposal of conclusions (6) to the Parliament.
The Committee did not vote on amendments (17) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Electronic Media and on amendments (8) to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Public Broadcasting Services of Montenegro, submitted by MPs Mr Dritan Abazović and Mr Zoran Miljanić, due to the absence of submitters of amendments.
