At today's 35th meeting, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports reviewed the Report on the implementation of the project "Revalorization of Cultural Properties of Montenegro", which was adopted by the Government of Montenegro, at its session on 31 July 2014. Numerous, specific questions of members of the Committee were thoroughly answered by Lidija Ljesar, Director of the Directorate for Cultural Heritage in the Ministry of Culture. The conclusion of the discussion at the Committee is that the Report was done well and comprehensively, and that is a good basis for further work on the revalorization and protection of cultural properties of Montenegro.
Another item on the agenda, the Proposal for the Law on the restoration of the chapel of Bishop Petar II Petrović Njegoš, submitted by MP Emilo Labudović, was postponed because the meeting was not attended by the proposer.
