At its 39th meeting, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports considered 23 amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Higher Education, submitted by the following MPs:
1) Mr Andrija Popović (four amendments);
2) Mr Damir Šehović and Ms Draginja Vuksanović (six amendments);
3) Mr Srđan Perić and Ms Azra Jasavić (two amendments);
4) Ms Nada Drobnjak (one amendment);
5) Mr Almer Kalač (one amendment);
6) Ms Snežana Jonica (six amendments).
The Committee continued consideration of the remaining four amendments of the MP Andrija Popović. MP Popović abandoned the amendments 3, 4, and 5 which were included and harmonised within the amendments of the MPs of SDP. The Committee proposed to the Parliament to adopt the amendment 6 submitted by the MP Popović, in modified form. The Government accepted the modified amendment 6, making it an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.
The Committee considered six amendments submitted by the MPs of SDP, Mr Damir Šehović and Ms Draginja Vuksanović. The Committee decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt all six amendments, and the Government accepted these amendments, noting that amendment 4 had been modified.
The Committee did not support two amendments submitted by the MPs of Positive Montenegro, Mr Srđan Perić and Ms Azra Jasavić, amendments submitted by MP Almer Kalač, as well as six amendments submitted MP Snežana Jonica. The proposer of the Law also did not accept these amendments. The Committee did not consider amendments submitted by the MP Dritan Abazović, because the proposer did not attend the meeting.
