46th meeting of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports held

Proposal for the 2015 Budget Law supported as well as an initiative for holding a control hearing of Minister Sanja Vlahović, who is currently in charge of the Ministry of Science

At today’s 46th meeting, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports supported by a majority of votes the 2015 Budget Law of Montenegro, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by the Government of Montenegro.

Mr Nikola Vukićević, representative of the Government and Director of the Directorate for Budget of the Ministry of Finance, presented explanation on the 2015 Budget Law of Montenegro to present Committee members, representatives of the Trade Union of Education of Montenegro and Trade Union of University of Montenegro.

Key strategy plans, programmes and projects of their ministers were presented by present representatives of relevant ministries from the scope of the Committee’s wok: Ms Smiljana Prelević, Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Ms Mubera Kurpejović, Director of the Directorate for High Education at the Ministry of Education. Chairperson and all Committee members participated in the discussion, as well as representative of the Trade Union of Education Mr Zvonko Pavićević and representative of the Trade Union of University of Montenegro Mr Vukašin Zogović.

At today’s meeting, within the item current issues, the initiative submitted by Committee members Mr Srđan Perić, Ms Branka Bošnjak, Mr Jelisava Kalezić and Mr Radosav Nišavić, for holding a control hearing of Minister of Ms Sanja Vlahović , who is currently in charge of the Ministry of Science, until the end of the year and for the purpose of obtaining information about events at the University of Montenegro was accepted.
