At its twelfth meeting, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports considered the following Agenda: Adoption of minutes from the ninth and tenth meeting of the Committee; Amendments to the Proposals for Laws in the Field of Education and Proposal for the Law on the Protection of the Natural and Cultural-Historical Area of Kotor.
In addition to Committee members and authorised representatives of the proponent, the meeting was attended, in line with Article 67 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, by Ms Marina Vujačić and Miroslava-Mima Ivanović, representatives of the Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro.
Within the first item of the Agenda, the proponent of the Law accepted the amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Higher Education, submitted by MPs of DPS, Liberal Party and HGI, and it has become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.
The proponent of the Law also accepted two amendments submitted by the Committee to the Proposal for the Law on Higher Education.
The Committee accepted two amendments submitted by MPs Srđan Perić and Goran Tuponja to the Proposal for the General Law on Education (amendment one – 6 votes “for” and 5 votes “against”; amendment 2 – six votes “for”, four “against” and one “abstained”). Proponent of the Law did not accept these amendments.
Within the second item of the Agenda, the Committee considered the Proposal for the Law on the Protection of the Natural and Cultural-Historical Area of Kotor, and with six votes “for” and three “abstained” decided to propose to the Parliament for adoption this Proposal for the Law.
The Committee adopted, without objections, minutes from the ninth and tenth meeting of the Committee.
