The Chairperson and the members of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak; Mr Goran Tuponja; Ms Branka Tanasijevic, MA; Ms Branka Bošnjak, docent PhD; and Ms Ljiljana Đurašković, PhD, participated today in the work of the Conference on the topic “Implementation of the European Anti-Discrimination Standards”, held in the Parliament of Montenegro.
The Conference was organised within the project “Implementation of the European Human Rights Standards in Montenegro and other countries in the region”, led by the German foundation for international legal cooperation e.V. (IRZ) and the Government of Montenegro.
The Conference was opened by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Justice Mr Duško Marković. The participants were addressed by the advisor of the Prime Minister for Human Rights and Protection against Discrimination, Mr Jovan Kojičić docent PhD of Law; project activities leader of IRZ in Bonn Mr Stefan Pürner, PhD, and the Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany to Montenegro Mr Pius Fischer.
The following also spoke at the Conference: Mr Stefan von Raumer from the Federal Republic of Germany; Ms Zorica Mršević, professor PhD, from the Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade, as well as Zlatan Meškić, professor PhD, from the Faculty of Law in Zenica.
