At today’s joint meeting of theGender Equality Committee and Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare, Deputy Minister of Health Ms. Mira Jovanovski Dašić PhD, presented the Strategy for keeping and enhancing reproductive and sexual health in Montenegro 2013-2020, with the Proposal for Action Plan 2014-2015. A part of the meeting was attended by Ms. Valentina Stratan PhD, member of the Committee on Social Protection, Health and Family of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.   

Upon the discussion, the following conclusions were adopted:

- Gender Equality Committee and Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare will, within their competencies,:
- during consideration of the Proposal for the Budget Law of Montenegro for 2014, consider with special attention allocated amount of funds for implementation of the Program of the Strategy for keeping and enhancing reproductive and sexual health in Montenegro 2013-2020, with the consumer unit of the Ministry of Health;
- follow implementation of the Strategy for keeping and enhancing reproductive and sexual health in Montenegro 2013-2020; 
- meet the public with the importance of prevention in health system;
- request submission of reports of the Ministry of Health on the manner and measure of use of all mammography in Montenegro;
- insist on buying the table for gynecological examination of persons with disabilities;
- follow introduction of appropriate modules in the field of sexual and reproductive health in educational curriculum of schools and faculties.

Gender Equality Committee and Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare invited Ministry of Health to organize the meeting with members of these two committeesduring the drafting of the following Action plan for implementation of strategy.
