The meeting was organized with the aim to enable male and female representatives of the business and banking sector, international business associations, international organizations and general public to gain direct access to women’s entrepreneurial potential and to enable interested investors and potential business partners to enter into cooperative arrangements with women from four municipalities of Cetinje, Kolašin, Mojkovac and Pljevlja.
Presented business plans are the result of work of a group of women who during 2013 and 2014 were included in the Program for Gender Equality, which has been implemented by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, the United Nations Development Program and the EU Delegation to Montenegro since of 2011.
At the opening of the meeting, their introductory speeches had Mr Suad Numanović, Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Mr Rastislav Vrbenski, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative to Montenegro and Ms Don Edi Berd, representative of the EU Delegation to Montenegro.
