Tempus project ″Heart″ is one of the most significant projects in the field of human rights, and Montenegro is one of participating countries.It is based on supporting development of courses and programmes at universities in five countries of the Western Balkans (Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Montenegro) in cooperation with four EU Universities (Germany, the Republic of Ireland, Sweden and the United Kingdom).
The main objective of the project is improving curriculums at universities, raising awareness of teachers on contemporary courses of human rights protection as well as training of employees and students to use new techniques and methods in learning and specialising.
Students of the University “Donja Gorica” had a special role in this project, since they made a significant influence the said project to fulfil its full purpose through their work, effort and ideas.
Students spoke on topics such as: Using words in masculine gender as common gender terms; Unequal treatment and unequal opportunities; Unequal pay for equal work; Representation of women in public and political life; Representation of women in entrepreneurship.
The film produced by the students on the topic “Prohibition of discrimination” was screened for Committee members.
The meeting was attended by students of Faculty of Law at the University “Donja Gorica”: Ms Jelena Rašović, Mr Alen Adrović, Ms Marija Bošković, Ms Ana Tanasijević, Ms Jovana Prlja, teaching assistant Mr Andrej Bracanović and Project coordinator Mr Bojan Božović.
