Gender Equality Committee held its 43^rd meeting on the topic Implementation of Protocol on Conduct, Prevention and Protection against Domestic Violence, with Special Focus on Sexual Violence.

Results of monitoring the work of institutions in cases of sexual crimes for the period 2010-2014 was presented by Ms Stana Šćepanović of NGO Women’s Alliance for Development.

The following spoke on the implementation of Protocol: Mr Slavko Milić, Head of Department for Prevention of Underage Delinquency and Domestic Violence at the Police Security Centre Nikšić; Ms Milica Cicović, MD, from Emergency Medical Assistance Nikšić; Mr Srđan Đurović, Head of Regional Unit for Misdemeanours Podgorica; Ms Vesna Krivokapić, Deputy Basic Public Prosecutor Nikšić; and Mr Zoran Radović, President of Basic Court in Podgorica.

The meeting was attended by coordinators for gender equality issues at ministries and other institutions, and representatives of NGOs and international organisations. 

The meeting was implemented in cooperation with the NGO Women’s Alliance for Development.
