At its meeting held today, the Committee, as the lead Committee, considered Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Gender Equality.
Following the discussion, the Committee unanimously decided to submit five amendments to the text of the Proposal for the Law. The representative of the proposer agreed with the proposed amendments.
After the voting, with five “yes” and three “abstained” votes, the Committee proposed to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Gender Equality.
The meeting was attended by: Mr Mersudin Gredić, Secretary at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights; Ms Biljana Pejović, Head of Department for Gender Equality Affairs at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights; Ms Fana Delija, NGO Centre for Roma Initiative; and Ms Kaća Đuričković, Coordinator at the UNDP Office in Montenegro.
Under the item of the agenda “current affairs”, the upcoming activities were discussed.
