Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning, at today’s meeting, considered and supported the Proposal for 2015 Budget Law of Montenegro, in the part relating to consumer units: Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Introductory remarks on the Proposal for 2015 Budget Law of Montenegro were made Mr Nikola Vukićević, Director General of the Directorate for Budget in the Ministry of Finance, with special reference to projection of funds from the fields that this Committee follows in accordance to its competences. Representatives of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and Ministry and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as line ministries, presented in details key programmes and projects for whose implementation certain funds were envisaged. Representatives of relevant ministries voiced respect of reality which caused the scope of the proposed budget, and expectations that the projected programme budgets of these ministries would be implemented in a given context. The discussion generally expressed concern regarding the public debt and its possible refinancing, so as not to cross the level of projected percentage of gross national income by 2018.
