At today's meeting, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning, as the first item on the agenda, discussed the Proposal for the Resolution on the Environment submitted by MP Branko Radulovićprof. PhD. Following the general consensus on the need for the Parliament to adopt the resolution at a time when Montenegro is preparing a negotiating position for the opening of chapter 27 - Environment, it was agreed that the text of the Proposal for Resolution should be revised in part related to precise proposals for entities of the environment. The Committee decided to vote on the Proposal for the Resolution at one of the next sessions.
Considering the current state of the environment in Pljevlja, it was pointed out that the problem of environmental pollution is of many years and protection mechanisms should be used, whose existence is required by a number of legal acts, such as declaring the state of vulnerability according to the Law on Environment. The Committee decided to submit proposal of conclusions to the Parliament conclusions calling on the authorities to take all measures to protect the environment and its improvement, in all its segments (water, air, soil) in accordance with the law.
