At their seventeenth meeting held today, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro considered five items of the agenda: 1. Information from the Thematic Meeting with the WHO regarding the Proposal for the Law on Providing Blood; 2. Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, submitted by MPs Mr Janko Vučinić and Mr Strahinja Bulajić PhD; 3. Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, submitted by MPs: Ms Zorica Kovačević, Mr Halil Duković MD and Mr Zoran Srzentić MD; 4. 2 amendments to Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, submitted by MPs Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Srđan Perić; and 5. Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, submitted by MPs Mr Janko Vučinić and Mr Strahinja Bulajić PhD.
Information from the Thematic Meeting with the World Health Organisation regarding the Proposal for the Law on Providing Blood was accepted unanimously by the Committee members.
Apart from the members of the Committee, Ms Ana Krsmanović, representative of the Ministry of Finance, was present at the meeting.
At their meeting held today, the Committee considered the amendments to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, submitted by the following MPs: Mr Janko Vučinić; Mr Strahinja Bulajić PhD; Ms Zorica Kovačević; Mr Halil Duković MD; Mr Zoran Srzentić MD; Mr Goran Tuponja; and Mr Srđan Perić.
The first amendment submitted by MPs Mr Janko Vučinić and Mr Strahinja Bulajić PhD, was withdrawn from the procedure upon the proposal by the proponents of the amendment.
Amendment (2) submitted by MPs Mr Janko Vučinić and Mr Strahinja Bulajić PhD, was not accepted by the representative of the proponent of the Proposal for the Law.
Additionally, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare did not accept this amendment and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to reject it.
The amendment submitted by MPs Ms Zorica Kovačević; Mr Halil Duković MD; and Mr Zoran Srzentić MD, was accepted by the representative of the proponent of the Proposal for the Law, and it became an integral part of the text of the Proposal for the Law.
Amendments (2) submitted by MPs Mr Goran Tuponja and Mr Srđan Perić were not accepted by the representative of the proponent of the Proposal for the Law.
The Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare also did not accept these amendments and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to reject them.
A member of the Committee, MP Ms Zorica Kovačević, was selected as the rapporteur of the Committee.
