The Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare held its eighteenth meeting with the following agenda: 1) Election of the deputy chairperson of the Committee, and
2) Amendment (1) and Legally-Technical Corrections to the Proposal for the Law on Providing Blood, by the MP Zoran Jelić.
The deputy chairperson of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare was not elected at the meeting held today. This item of the agenda was postponed. The Committee decided to send a letter to Collegium of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro requesting a statement on the model for election of the deputy chairperson of the Committee.
The Committee considered the amendment and legally-technical corrections submitted by the MP Zoran Jelić, to the Proposal for the Law on Providing Blood. This amendment was accepted by the representative of the proponent of the Proposal for the Law, and it became an integral part of the Proposal for the Law.
The legally-technical corrections submitted by the MP Zoran Jelić were accepted by the representative of the proponent of the Proposal for the Law.
A member of the Committee, Mr Izet Bralić, primarius MD, was appointed as the rapporteur of the Committee.
The Committee approved minutes from 15th, 16th and 17th meeting unanimously and without objections.
Additionally, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro also held its nineteenth meeting with the following agenda: Initiative for Emergency Holding of the Meeting Regarding the Epidemic in Berane, by the MPs Janko Vučinić, Radovan Asanović and Novica Stanić.
The Committee decided to hold a control hearing regarding the epidemic in Berane. The meeting will be held on 30 September in the building of the Parliament of Montenegro, and the following will be invited to attend: Mr Miodrag Radunović, Minister of Health; Mr Vuka Golubović, Mayor of Municipality of Berane; Mr Boban Mugoša, director of the Institute for Public Health; Mr Faruk Pačariz, director of the Water Supply Berane; Mr Ervin Adrović, assistant director of the Transport Directorate; a representative of MANS; a representative of the Administration for Inspection Affairs; Mr Goran Čukić MD, epidemiologist from Berane; and Mr Milovan Živković MD, infectologist from Berane.
