31st meeting of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare continued

Two items of the agenda were considered

The Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare of the Parliament of Montenegro continued its 31st meeting with the following agenda: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Employment and Exercising Rights with respect to Unemployment Insurance, submitted by the following MPs: Mr Srđan Milić, Mr Neven Gošović and Ms Snežana Jonica; Amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Employment and Exercising Rights with respect to Unemployment Insurance, submitted by the following MPs of the DPS MP Group: Mr Zoran Jelić, Ms Zorica Kovačević, Mr Halil Duković, MD, and Mr Zoran Srzentić, MD.

At the 31st meeting of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare continued today, after the discussion, the Committee unanimously supported the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Employment and Exercising Rights with respect to Unemployment Insurance, and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt it.

The amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Employment and Exercising Rights with respect to Unemployment Insurance, submitted by the following MPs of the DPS MP Group: Mr Zoran Jelić, Ms Zorica Kovačević, Mr Halil Duković, MD, and Mr Zoran Srzentić, MD, was not accepted by the representative of the proponent of the Proposal for the Law. Additionally, this amendment was not accepted by the Committee as well.

Upon the proposal by the representative of the proponent of the Proposal for the Law, the MP Mr Neven Gošović, they agreed that the Chairperson of the Committee Mr Zoran Jelić should continue his talks with the Minister of Finance Mr Radoje Žugić, PhD, and the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Mr Predrag Bošković, MA, in order to reach a more acceptable solution.
