In accordance with Article 65 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by the MP Radosav Nišavić.

The disabled workers reached an agreement with the line ministry and the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare on cessation of protest and resolving the requests within the existing systemic law.

The disabled workers accepted the previous proposal of the Minister Bošković, and thus, in the following days, a number of disabled workers would be able to submit requests for regulating pensions, while the remaining disabled workers would obtain that right after the determination of the degree of disability before the Commission for Disabilities. At the same time, that was one of the conclusions from the Committee meeting. If that is not possible and if the disabled workers are not satisfied, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare will intervene, meaning the Committee members will propose amendments to the law.

The Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare will continue to participate actively in the talks between the disabled workers and representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. The next Committee meeting, where the Committee will consider what has been done, is scheduled for 2 June 2014.
